Enrichment Programs

First Break’s Education and Enrichment programs provides services to student-athletes that include tutoring from academic professionals, a guided curriculum, peer to peer mentorship, life skill development (like time management and budgeting), and organized community service events. The goal is to foster growth in self-confidence, independence, and resourcefulness. Everything is designed to meet the needs of the individual child. We see sports and education as vehicles leading to overall self-improvement.

Guest speakers with diverse backgrounds ranging from professional tennis to advanced education to other highly specialized careers meet with our kids. Academic skills are fostered through the Introduction of advanced educational materials/tools like computers, libraries/databases, and new technologies.
